The Oedo-Botania marine plantation

The Oedo-Botania marine plantation is a marine park located in the clean and blue southern sea and the Hallyeo Marine National Park famous for beautiful landscape. The Oedo is one of the islands that are adjacent to Geoje island. In spite of the islands, Oedo is abundant in water, warm climate and high rainfall. So tropical plants and chant some easy to grow. The Oedo-Botania marine plantation was opened April 25, 1995. In just two years. it has established itself as a tourist attraction that visitors of more than one million people per year have visited. Recently, it was chosen as the best tourist sites in South Korea.

Oedo seems to have been moved the town on the coast of the Mediterranean. It is nicely decorated with wonderful landscape and building of an exotic figure. Oedo was brought up by married couple for 30 years. They raise Oedo with natural love and utmost sincerity without rest since 1969. Including the rare subtropical plants, more than 740 large and small plants are growing in Oedo.

It is said "The development is the destruction of nature." But Oedo breaks this stereotypes and is made by adapting nature. Try to go Oedo once.

The Young People Mall in Nambu Market

 Hi~ In this posting, I introduce unusual place in Jeon-Ju. When people travel Jeon-Ju, people usually go to traditional korean village "Hanok Village". Of course, Hanok Village is beautiful place for trip. But I would like to introduce young people market(청년몰) in Nambu Market, Nambu market and the Pungnam-Moon. Specially, this "the young people market" appears on television and is right for a day's trip.

The Nambu Market

 

 

 The Nambu Market is a traditional market in jeon-ju for more than 100 years. There are the Pungnam-Moon and the river side of Jeon-Ju river around the Nambu Market. The city of Jeon-Ju discusses ways to vitalize traditional markets. So there are unique signs. While the advantage of the large mart is ease of use, that of the traditional market is busy bustling about from lively people's dialogue and friendly feeling. At the traditional market, we become light-hearted. So it's great place for going on a visit.

 

 

The young people market (in the nambu market)

 

 The name of the young peole market in the Nambu market is real-new-town. This market is planned and applied by Jeon-Ju city and many young business people for vitalizing to traditional markets. The real-new-town is located second floor of the Nambu market. So it is difficult to find. When you find this market, you can use map in the Nambu market. The murals were painted on walls next to the stairs going up to the Mall. This murals were painted by the young business people in real-new-town. The young people mall's motto is "Earn moderately and live wonderfully."

In the young people mall, the opening hour of store is 2~3p.m. The young storekeepers are familiar and have broad-minded.

 This mural is painted in the side of the wall of store named "mistery store(미스터리 상회)" This mural is popular because of particularity. Also here's stores are decorated unusually and characterfully.

 

 And I'll tell you some of the stores.

Nabi cafe(카페나비) - There are several cafes in the young people mall. Among them, Nabi cafe is designed on the theme of the cat. Also this cafe is fist store of the young people mall.

Play together store(같이 놀다 가게) - This store is the sole board game store in Jeon-Ju.

Handmade store - This store sells handmade products. And you can learn handmade skills in this store.

Bum's plants store(범이네 식충이) - This store sells insect-eating plants mainly.

 

 

TESEUM in Damyang

 Now, I post Korea's beautiful and funny places for trip.

I will post many places for trip. Some places are the place where I have visited, and the others are the place where I haven't visited. I want that you consider to visit places where I will post.

As first place for trip, I introduced about DamYang city. Actually, Dam-Yang is usually famous for a amount for bamboo, Metasequoia street trees and rib of rice cake. But today, I introduce about TESEUM theme park in Dam-Yang. Teseum theme park is fantastic place for trip. There are teddy bear & trick art exhibit hall, sledge park and various rides in Teseum. Teseum is Theme park in nature with education, experience and fun.

 First, Let's find Teseum's way. For example, If you go Teseum from Jeon-Ju, you should take bus to countryside. Go Gwang-Ju city first(1hour 20minutes, 6200won). In sequence you take bus once again to Dam-Yang(40minutes, 2200won). If you visit Jooknokwon with Teseum, you can ride shuttle bus managed in Teseum. But shuttle bus runs only fixed time. On the way to Teseum from terminal, Metasequoia street trees spread out before your eyes. But when I visited, I can't see well Metasequaoia street trees. Because It's raining.:(

 Below is a foreground Teseum.

 After arrived, Me and my friends went to exhibit hall. Exhibit hall is composed of teddy bear gallery on 1st floor and trick art gallery on 2nd floor. Each gallery is 9000won and Both are 15000won. A bit expensive. ㅠ.ㅠ In my case, me and my friends buy tickets(exhibit hall+sledge park) in discounted price from a sale cite-coupang.^^

 If you enter the teddy bear gallery, there are safari zone(1&2). Safari zone is decorated cute teddy bears and animal dolls. In succession, there are aqua zone, dancing zone, Damyang story zone(6) where reproduce character of drama that film with Damyang in the background Damyang and miniatures zone(3). There are so many photo zone for taking a picture(6&7&8). You can take a picture with you family, friends or you lover(4).

 Next, If you enter the trick art gallery, you can take a picture as you participate in picture(1). Trick art is athree-dimensional representation of a plane picture. And It arouse illusion to beholder. The method of how taking a picture is attached the surface of a wall. You can integrate into pop-art like photo 2. And you can be chased dinosaur like photo 3. And you can cause an optical illusion like photo 4. In photo 4, the left person is bigger than the right person. Isn't it?

 Also, you can take a picture in various expression of face and body. In Photo 1, my friend imitates picture. In Photo 2, my friend indulges in the falls. In Photo 3, my friend takes a picture with chucky grabbing a knife. And In Photo 4, my friend escapes from prison.

 And after you come out of the exhibit hall, you can look on a picturesque scene of Teseum. There are square of fountain and outdoor swimming pool. We go to food court for eating lunch. There are many restaurants. We decide to choose the snack bar. We could eat our´s fill because of a amount of food and inexpensive price.

 Then, We went to sledge park. A kind owner ma'am buys us raincoat. Cause it's raining. So although it's raining, we could enjoy sled very well. For reference sledge park run only winter.

 And We try riding the pirate ship with courage. A man in cafeteria run the pirate ship. And we become intimate with him. So we can ride in discounted price. And because, there are no people. By the way, it's sooooo scared!! !O! In Photo 3, we can make certain that ride go up at an angle of 90°.
